 The males large pillars moved swiftly across the tera. is large white hooves beat the ground softly. His mane blew with the powerful wind. Stopping, the young brujo examined his surroundings. Soft green trees with large trnks. The grass was a yelloish-green that had some brown fading away from them. The wind had clamed, and now was a gentle breeze. The sun only made it's way through a few branches. The trees were really thick, and the only clear sky shown, had no clouds in it. The young brujo stared at the sky in wonderment, he was still feeling bad for what that one fea did to him. She had abandoned him and ran of to the other brujo that had walked off, she didn't even take one glance at him when he left. He didn't deserve to be treated that wa, he was nice to her. He knew he would probably never trust a fea again, he still hadn't found a mate, and probably never would. He was large comapared to the oter females. Most feas around here were Thouroughbred or Arabians, he was just a very large Clydsale, twice the size as the feas. he hadn't had any luck finding a Clydsdale female, and probably never would, actually, he was the only Clydsdale he had met around here, he hadn't met one male the smae breed as him. But he didn't know, there could be one out there, but for now, no where near the brujo. That's why he decided to stand there and be eaten from the inside.[/color][/size] |

She wandered aimlessly through the trees. Beneath her, the stark reminders of spring crumbled. Frosted grass and dainty flowers reflected what little light reached them through the layer of trees. Denied all sunlight, the grass had turned an unpleasant colour, and the flowers wilted. This wasnt a pretty place, but she felt at home here. More at home than she had ever felt anywhere else. If someone was to ask her where her home was, she would reply 'The forest'. She trampled on for a few more yards before spotting a tree to rest under. Walking to the tree, she lowered her body and settled on the ground. She kept her eyes open although she did not feel the need to.

Looking down, the brujo noticed a fea a ways off. Scowling, he kicked a clump of dirt away from him and turned to look at the trees above. The ivory color was an enchanting color to him, it seemed to drown his thoughts away and replace them with the ivory color. Finally deciding that he would be nice, he looked once more at te fea and began walking up to her. His large daggers dug into the soft dirt below and made deep hoofprints. When he was only a few feet away from te female, he lowered his head in a greeting and said.
"Ello there."
Auds swiveled around, listening for the fea's words. Nostrils flared as he took n her scent. [/color] |

Certain she had heard another creature behind her, she looked up; her instincts confirmed. On seeing the horse she bounded to her feet. Hello. She replied. Bowing her head slightly, her eyes wandered to her hooves, and then back to the hessian.

Im Aithne. She replied simply. And may I know your dubbing? Her banner spiralled in the wind and her whipcord flailed. What little sunlight shone through the canapy of trees washed over her ivory mane, and illuminate her orbs. Now over the mild shock of the encounter with the male, Aithnes ears perked up instead of pinning themselves to her head.

Loghan raised his head a little higher and looked up at the trees.
"Loghan."
he said, still staring at the canopy of trees. Loghan was facnated by nature, it was the main thing that kept him occupied through his lonley days. he hadn't seen his one true friend in a while, nor had he seen Stoney. Stoney must have run off, where? He didn't know. Stoney was a pretty fea who he was growing attracted to, but she and his best friend, ran off. [/size] |

Thats a nice name. She smiled. The trees above her guarded her form the intense sun that grew hotter throughout the afternoon. Her tail hovered, preparing to swat an insect that buzzed around her tassles. As a small creature bussled behind them she turned her head once quickly to check all was safe, then returned her gaze to the hessian.

"Ya, mine is original, my mom wanted to name me something that was original. Yours is cool, your is unoriginal."
He said. The few strands of the golden sunlight made it's way through the ivory leaves and hi Loghan with the full heat, making his coat feel more and more hot. But moving over to the side a bit, he was lucky enough to escape it. [/size] |

Original, perhaps, but not cool. She grinned. Anything but cool. She couldnt help but smile at his nice comments although she wondered whether they were just lies or he was actually telling the truth. As the sun drew nearer to it's hottest hour, Aithne walked slowly towards a thick evergreen tree that was sure to provide a thick layer of shade to keep her cool.

He was telling the truth, he didn't like lying, if he didn't like something and someone would want his opinion, he wouldn't say anything, inless the thing didn't have feelings or was alive then he told the truth. She nodded. That was her opinion, and that is what she had always thought. She doubted it would ever change. Whenever someone would say something nice about her name, she would always tell them her views. She had a horrible name. It meant fire in gaelic, and surely enough fire was her personality.

So, are you here for a reason? She asked, Or are you just wandering? Her normally feirce eyes lit with the excitement of seeing another horse, although she had to admit, this brute didnt seem half as interested or excited. If she didnt know better, she would have said he didnt want her here at all. But this land was just as much hers as it was his, and he had better think twice if he expected her to leave.

She nodded and smiled. Atleast he looked happier now. Creatures dont seem too friendly around here.. She sighed and gently reared, grabbing a small bunch of blossom flowers from the branch above her. Her hooves landed upon the ground with a clunk and she shook her head, some of the blossom dispersing into the air.

Mmm.. i usually stay back too. She said, shaking the blossom more violently. Her mane swished through the air as she shook her head. Tiny, pink petals fall the the ground like confetti, brightening up the dull green grass and thick brambles.

Loghan smiled and chuckled a little as he watched her shake her head faster now. He didn't have anything else to say. So he stood on his back legs and grabbed an apple from the tree above him and ate it slowly.

She laughed, the blossom had been completely wrecked. All the leaves had been shaken from the thin twig they hung off. Taking a step back, she raised her front legs from the ground a little and jumped up, taking the stem of a flower and dragging it down as she landed on the ground.

When Loghan finished, he jumped up once more and pulled down one more apple and a small branch with blossoms on it. He laid them on the ground and nodded for Aithne to take them.

She blushed. She didnt think anyone had ever been so considerate. They had only just met but she already thought Loghan was one of the most kind people she had met. She smiled thankfully and lowered her neck, taking the apple of the ground. She lowered it by her feet and then jumped up, grabbing another one. Putting it on the ground infront of him, she offered it to Loghan and smiled.

Loghan took the one she had pulled down and ate it. Looking up, he saw a squirrel chattering at him. Loghan snorted and the squirrel ran off. Loghan chuckled.

She laughed and watched, bemused, as the squirell scuttered away. Her eyes wandered back to Loghan and she smiled. I like the spring.. She said happily. Mainly because she enjoyed wrecking the hopeful flowers and delicate blossoms, but she hesitated to mention that part.

Yeah, especially the squirrel one. She giggled and looked around for another squirrel the terrorize. As her eyes scanned past a bush, she swore she ahd seen another creature watching but shook it off as a figure of her imagination. She turned back around and smiled.

Loghan searched the trees for another squirrel. Soon enough, he found one. He pointed to it with his muzzle and said,
"Look over there, a squirrel just waiting to be teased and scared away."
He chuckled.

She laughed. You do the honours. She stepped back and watched amusingly. There was certainly something about squirrels. She liked most animals; badgers, birds. but squirrels were something else.

Loghan snorted and walked slowley up to the squirrel. Seeing him, the squirrel started chattering. loghan neighed and reeled. The squirrel just stood there. Swinging a hoof, loghan hit the branch before landing on all fours again. The squirrel squeaked and ran off. Loghan laughed.

She giggled. She thought it was maybe mean terrorizing squirrels .. but it certainly was great fun! Her eyes darted around for more squirrels, although they had probably already been scared away by the frightened squeels of their friends.
